Bloodbath was not immediately aware of his death.
The space that he had found himself in didn't allow him to remember much of anything before either. All he knew was that he was awake, and in the middle of nowhere. At first, he thought this to be purgatory, brief tendrils of memory grasping at his mind like darkened hands.

This reminder rammed itself into his skull like a nail every so often as he looked at where he’d ended up. He looked at himself, his other head. His face was gaunt and he could see the defined lines of the skull underneath. A scarf of teeth adorned his form, spanning from his shoulder to his other one. He had a terrible headache.
Where he ended up looked similar to where he died, if he could even remember enough to make that assumption. He didn’t know. His migraine wouldn’t allow him to think. All he knew was that he was coated in blood and didn’t feel quite like himself.
…Well.
He found it better to wander around rather than to interact with the shadows along the way.
Shadows? Shadows? What shadows?
Why, the shadows of his past, of course. There would be no escaping them. No, not while he’s here.
Nothing was friendly in nowhere. Bloodbath even found himself startled by the other dragons. Dragons? Phantoms? What were they? Why did they insist on talking to him so much? Why were they being nice?
His mind was in a jumbled mess, and his thoughts were broken.
