HI S T O R Y
Darkness. Overwhelming, suffocating darkness. Latramys whipped around in a circle, looking for an escape. There was none. Whispers flooded his mind and he clawed at his head, trying to force the unwanted voices out. A small patch of the dark fog parted and he could see a glowing sigil on the ground, blood seeming to come out of nowhere to fill it. The whispers started to grow louder until they were a deafening roar, yet Latamys understood none of them as every word overlapped with each other. The sigil grew brighter until a geyser of crimson flame erupted from its place on the ground. Latramys turned and ran as fast as he could, but it was no use. The darkness choked him out and he collapsed on the ground, panting. He looked behind him to see the geyser widening and cracks forming in the ground. As the cracks widened and approached him Latramys could only scream.
Starlight. Latramys’ eyes shot open to see drifting stars above him. It was a cool, autumn night. This had only been a nightmare. Another horrifying nightmare. One that he still couldn’t put the pieces of together. Latramys got to his feet and started walking, no real destination in mind. The nightmare was racing through his head. What did it mean? And why was he having the same nightmare for four nights in a row now? As he looked back up at the stars, he noticed that one was brighter than the others. For some reason, he felt like it was beckoning to him. Just looking at it filled him with… hope? Without a second though, Latramys took flight and headed towards the star.
