Ever since she was a child Spark was told she had an important duty, to protect the sacred family pearl. She didn't know why it was "Sacred" or why it was so important, but even as a hatchling she could see the seriousness in her parents eyes. She held onto the pearl every day, wondering about it, talking to it and hoping it would answer back. Then one day when she was out wandering the forest around their nest it happened, she was attacked several other dragons.


However she was not harmed, a barrier had appeared around her as the scared pearl glowed bright. She ordered the pearl to attack and it followed her commands, the barrier spiky as the dragons lunged again, just in time for her parents to arrived. They fought her attackers...to the ends of their own lives. With their remaining breath they told Spark they loved her and to protect the pearl.


Spark went from place to place with the pearl, only using it to defend herself when needed, as she grew older she longed for a forever home. And then...she met Mythic.
