The Healer
About
The huffy, knowledgeable resident medic, and also technically the oldest member of the Hibiscus Requiem. After a restless, decade-spanning hibernation, an aberration re-emerged from the Wyrmwound and had only a brief, discombobulated flutter about before colliding with a courier dragon who happened to be making an express delivery of expensive soaps. This unfortunate run-in was the cause of Mycel’s slimy scales, and the fungi that grow in patches in their fur today.

But the strange mushrooms have some good effects—most of them act as an instant panacea to minor wounds, and a delayed one to major injuries, as well as allowing anyone who consumes the mushrooms the temporary, yet intriguing, ability to communicate telepathically with Mycel. These gifts have made them a little full of themself. They would have worn a mask to fit with the rest of the crew, but parchment doesn’t keep its shape well with their scales, and there wasn’t enough to continue making them more masks, so an animal pelt does just as well.
