Calina came to the lair to ask a boon of the Storm King. Noone knows the boon she asked, only that it was granted and that she and her bodyguards, Kethren and Gallant seem to be making themself at home.

To all appearances, she is every inch the perfect princess. But sometimes, when there is no moon brightening the night, she extinguishes her lanterns, slips out from under the watchful gaze of her bodyguards, and disappears for a time. Visitors who have not experienced this before will never forget the sight of two humongous guardians frantically and not so frantically searching the lair for their missing Charge.

Where she goes on these journeys is a mystery to everyone except perhaps the Storm King. After her return and reassuring her guardians, she is invariably granted an audience and in the next council meeting Molan reveals relevant new information previously unknown to the clan.

With Calinas arrival, the clan has noticed a definite increase in humorous accidents. Nothing can ever be traced back to her, of course, but Dazzle is convinced she was the one that put the strawberry concoction in his hair oil (it turned his glorious mane red for a week! Blasphemy!) and has sworn he will prove that she is the source of the pranks.
