Uh-oh, looks like this seeker of the ancient wandered a little too far from her home lair (KingVulture, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If you ever feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the “Dragons Off To See The World” thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.

Sacred would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been travelling long enough, just let her owner know!

Sacred has had an interest in the ancient for quite a while - it's not a surprise, given that her parents are Banescales hatched from some of the only remaining Banescale eggs.

Ever since Sacred heard rumors that an ancient breed from the Viridian Labyrinth may be discovered, she's been curious to learn more about it.

When sacred arrive to the evergreen forest clan. She was welcomed with open wings. A vibrant green nocturne by the name of Louisa offered her a space at the local travelers inn. The little building was located towards the edge of the clan. Near the patrol guards front tower. Sacred explored the vast masses of the clan in depth. Hunting for the new ancient breed she’d heard so much about. She’d never found one and sadly informed by the local librarian Tobias there wasn’t any auraboas amongst them. So sacred settled down for awhile to enjoy the clans many amenities for travelers.

A few weeks later a young imperial showed up to the clan. Louisa welcomed him like she’d known him for years. His name was Micah. Sacred stared at him from a distance for awhile. The way he behaved was rather weird to her. He didn’t sleep much. The deep sorrow in his eyes surprised her. Most travelers she met had a spark to them that brought excitement. Yet he didn’t.

One day she worked up the courage to talk to him. “Hi I’m Sacred, I’m a first time traveler. This is the first clan I’ve come to.” The imperial looked at her and with a gruff tone told her off in a dark fashion.

“You know you shouldn’t say that.” Stretching his large purple wings as he spoke. The books floating around him fluttered their pages. Almost if they knew things she didn’t. The response shocked her. He’d just come back home from his travels. What could make him say that. So she brought it up. Digging her claws in the dirt below them.

“Well why not? Traveling is a fun and new experience every day. You just got back from that. Why say that?” She’d spoke hoping the haughty tone in her voice would change his manners a little. The way in which he told the banescale off bothered her. For awhile the imperial was silent. Sitting back on his haunches and staring off into the distance. Sacred watched his eyes glaze over as if he was thinking of something dark and brooding. The air around them got stuffy. Micah’s books fluttered frantically laying down in a stack near his feet.

Finally he spoke again. The glazed look still on his face. “Yes it may be fun and a new experience.” He paused a moment before continuing. “It can also be very dark and scary. Some dragons travel once, and never return home.” His voice icy and low. Once again he went silence still staring out into the distance. Sacred silenced herself. The icy feeling in the air crawled around her. Causing a shiver to travel up her spine. So she resided to sitting beside Micah. For she wondered what the imperial had seen that made him return home so quickly.

Sacred knew she’d soon move on to a new clan in continuance of her journey to study the new auraboa breed, but she would keep Micah’s advice in her mind. Being wary to reveal that she’s a traveler from now on. After all she could feel there was more story to his advice than he told.
