"Oh, you must be terribly freezing from being out in that cold! Here, let me make you some hot cocoa with the leftover water I have from this week's haul."
Wisp hurried away to her kitchen, and after a while emerged. She was balancing a cup of hot cocoa on her head, running over to you.
"Now, best to keep the fur over you. What were you doing out when the moon didn't fall? don't you know?" Wisp's ears lowered slightly. She shook her head. "Don't answer that, I don't need to know."
She set the hot cocoa down, and stared at you for a bit. "Do your bones ache? Has a sense of dread come over you suddenly?"
You shake your head no, shaking violently. She grabs another fur coat from a chest and hands you it. "I didn't think so. You're smart enough to come here and ask for help."
You ask Wisp about the water haul. "Oh, don't you know? Every week there's a day where the sun shines. We have to hurry and travel to get water and necessary food from the vendors. She answers, shaking her head.
Wisp stares at you for a bit, before feeling your pulse. "A bit low, but not too low."
She walks away and sits down on a nearby fur carpet, shaking her head. "You're new to the Artic, hm? How'd you enter?"
You answer you got lost and didn't know where to do, and you expected the cold to end. Wisp chuckles sadly and shakes her head once more.
"It's too late now, I'm afraid." She rests her head on her claws, her ears lowering more. "You're stuck here forever. I'll give you some advice."
She gets up and runs over to her scroll stacks, grabbing one and an ink bottle. She writes something quickly, and hands you it.
Don't go out when the moon is staring.
Be afraid of those with no soul.
If the snow is melting, run.
If you feel a sense of dread, don't look behind you. Just keep walking forward. It will end soon.
