Dionysus is a dragon who dedicates himself to ensuring that both hatchling and parent are in prime health, and to assess if a nesting couple are fully capable of bringing new life into the lair. Even after conception, Dionysus carries out his caretaker diligence by affirming young fledgling dragons' safety after the mother's stedmonth.

However, try as one must, there's little one can do when matched against the uncaring face of fate. You will love until there's no love left to give. You will care for, tend to, soothe and swaddle in hopes that this new generation will burn brighter than all the others, that they will overtake the sands of time, and etch their names into history scrolls alongside the likes of Windsinger, and Lightweaver. But, when the ways of the world will not be waived...
