P E R S O N A L I T Y
Known by many, and yet a complete stranger to most, Fantasia lives her life like a ghost among the clan. She is ever-present, but rarely involved. She would much rather observe than interact, spending her time watching over those around her, seeming to catch every little thing, from who is romancing who, to what hatchling stole the last piece of seafood. While nothing escapes her notice, her aura is not one that intimidates most - unless they have something to hide - but rather, she has become a reassuring figure to most of the clan. A steadfast rock that is always looking out for them. While she has no interest in leadership, many seem to look up to her, allowing her a rather high rank in the clan for one so unconcerned with power. Perhaps power is best given to those who don't want it, however, as no one can say she has ever abused it. Speak when spoke to seems to be her typical policy, and she rarely engages others in conversation, only entering such situations when another talks to her first. Loyal to the end, Tasia seems to have come to the conclusion Capere Sol, and it's young leader, are worth her time, and as far as anyone can see she has no desire to falter from their side. It's no secret, however, that she craves the Shifting Expanse, though she has never actually been there. Something about the place calls to her. When questioned on this, however, she will always reassure that she plans to remain where ever Capere Sol is, and the only way she'll go there is if the entire clan does, too. Serving as the advisor to Solari, she is often seen with the Golden Queen, speaking to her hushed tones. Her words are often ones of guidance, using her older age and experience to help the younger dragon through the difficulties of leadership. Of course, being an ever-observant figure, there is no doubt she is also keeping the Queen informed on various matters, serving as an extra set of eyes and ears to keep track of the ever-growing group. |

H I S T O R Y Very little is known about Fantasia's origins. Her life began as one of the countless eggs that dragons stumble upon in their travels, with no signs of a parent or caretaker, or even a clan, anywhere around. An abandoned little egg, sparking with electricity. The savior of her orphaned little egg was a travelling bard by the name of Scaena. Though he wasn't quite sure what to make of the egg, he picked it up and put it in his satchel and carried on his way. The bard had no intentions of hatching the egg, but it was surely fetch a nice price at the next merchant caravan he found. Unfortunately for his wallet, he never made it there. Or rather, he did, but with the addition of a tiny Lightning dragon, that hatched and poked it's little head out of his satchel with a hungry squeal that nearly scared the poor Pearlcatcher half to death. Frustrated by his lost income, but fascinated by the tiny creature; a newly hatched Guardian that surely would not fit well in his satchel for long. Alas, he was not the fatherly type, and though he let the little thing tag along for awhile, he wasted no time in dropping her off at the first clan he found. Or, trying to. He thought he had left her behind, but soon enough, he felt something bump into his precious pearl - and sure enough, it was the orphan, trying so very hard to steal his pearl as a chew toy. Oh, how he tried to abandon the little thing, clan after clan taking her in, but she always came back, after his precious pearl! And she grew fast, the little Guardian he dubbed Fantasia. Too fast, really. It was no time at all before she was stealing his pearl and happily holding it out of his reach. As fate would have it, she had decided his pearl was her charge. Lucky for him, she was mostly willing to share. Time passed, and the two traveled together. With age, she grew to be less of 'nuisance' and more of a companion. While he sung and entertained, she scoured the crowds, picking out the wealthiest dragons among them and coaxing them into tossing him an extra coin or two. Their time together was great; but he was an old dragon, and the day came when he moved on to serve Lightweaver; leaving behind only his beloved pearl for her to remember him by. With her charge, the pearl, in hand, she set off, travelling without much purpose. She had a desire to change who she was entirely, and over the months that passed transitioned from her plain Guardian self to a shimmering Wildclaw. With the change of breed, her desire to have a charge diminished, but never quite disappeared entirely. To this day, the pearl is hidden away in a safe spot, never too far from her, and on occasion she can be seen carrying it, leaving many to believe she was once a Pearlcatcher. She remains in the Sunbeam Ruins as it was where he bard companion returned before his passing, though she has found more reason to remain then ever before; Capere Sol. Her observation skills have not went unnoticed, nor her intellect, and she has gained the ranks of Archduchess and Advisor. Though she is quite content within her clan, something in her heart always calls her towards the lands of Lightning, and she's sure someday she will go, but not today. |

F A M I L I A R Name || Alacritas Meaning || Alacrity Origin || Latin Energetic and confident, Alacritas is a bold Lancer, but not always the brightest. In fact, he's notoriously clueless. While his companion is almost all-seeing, he is sort of un-seeing, really. It's not that he's dense, really, so much as easily distracted. He has much better things to focus on, such as being the lady-killer he is (or gentlemen-killer, he doesn't discriminate). Charming and flirty, he'd much rather spend his time trying to impress the other acolytes than observing the happenings of the clan. When it comes to combat, however, he is quite fierce; and really, he has to be. How else would he impress the other acolytes? Surely not through his astounding poetry. A loyal friend to Fantasia, Ala stumbled across her shortly after the Bard had moved on, and offered companionship in her hardest time. Since then, they have been inseperable. |
