Biography
The Deity of Decay or The Creeping Death as they call it.
The worship and fear from other dragons have given him a tangible form with which he is unsure of how to use. He has no wish to be perceived nor to roam the world in a physical form other than the slow decay of all living things. However something brings him back to this state of being. He investigated its significance from time to time, lurking around and sometimes visiting his worshippers much to their delight and his unshakable apathy.

His aliases include whichever name he is granted by those he meets including ‘The Deity of Death’ ‘Death’ ‘Decay’ ‘Plague Bringer’ ‘Creeping Death’ and sometimes mundane names often given by those who insist he is something more than these accurate titles. He claims he doesn’t care but seems to stick near these soft voices that call him names like ‘Flaumello’. The young hatchling that called him that name was ill upon his visit. It had been a visit of leisure but soon it was a visit of business as she didn't last much longer. Since then, he went by the name, even going as far as to correct people toward it in the rare moments that he used his voice. The name sounded odd and gentle spoken on his rasping growl. Out of place even as he took ownership of it while looking at you with glowing red eyes. While his name implies that he works slow, he moves, speaks and acts much the same. Some get the wrong idea, assuming he is sluggish and an easy target but if he is shown violence he will react in kind. He does not gain glee from slaughter despite what some may think but he is a god and thus he carries the power of one. Any who show him such aggression will likely not make it away in time and will be forever trapped with him. |
He is not loyal to any specific mindset as he is truly neutral. He wishes to do his job and nothing more. No pleas from sorrowful family can draw him away from his duty. He cannot be stirred to have a conscience but when he has no duty to conduct he is found to be quiet and peaceful with a preference toward the living keeping him company. Those who worship him are not necessarily evil as he is not. Generally they prioritize order and structure while protecting the natural way of life. They are not fans of interference via medicines and magic as they are deemed 'unnatural' Their deity, however, has no real interest in dictating such things.
