A lone but chivalrous paladin condemned to a fate of eternity. Born of light and the fragments of a dead world, Valerian lives to tell and safely keep stories of a past that he holds close to himself that he was not alive for, but somehow remembers as if it was his own. He chases after this mystery, wishing nothing more than to find a reason for why he was left alive.

Ever since the events that had conspired above the apex of the world, the paladin had been seeking a new purpose and direction in his life. He had been so used to devoting himself to another, and he now has been given the challenge of finding that sort of devotion for himself. Despite this, he is optimistic about his future, as he always has been. Resolved and resolute, he sets out to find his new purpose, beyond what he was created for.
