Cricket

For Cricket, fighting is a last resort. Instead he loves to sneak around those who get in his way. He is quite the escape artist like his sister Phoebe. Cricket has immense power that he is working on controlling, it has to do why he keeps his face and body shielded. Currently, any living thing Cricket touches gets an extreme boost of life energy flowing through them whether they are low on it or not. The not category is what causes problems for other creatures and plants as large gardens could be formed by a single touch or super energized dragons. Additionally, the energy is produced by Cricket at alarming rates during the day or near Light light sources. This energy can only be controlled at the moment by Bobcat and Hyde which the latter is hated by Cricket. Since Hyde loves fighting and battling, Cricket has been doing his best to stay home or out of the light to better control his power. Though his father doesn't want Cricket to keep inside all day as Jay knows his son really loves exploring like him. Though when Cricket is forced to go on outings with his older brother, he finds himself quite miserable from hiding and covering his ears while Hyde battles.

Though Hyde has improved, in at least trying to be nicer to his siblings. Though he still battles, he won't severely injure his opponent around Cricket, instead incapacitating them. Sometimes Hyde just drains the opponent's energy to help Cricket test his powers by revitalizing them. When Cricket's powers do go out of control, Hyde is at least able to drain Cricket's energy and use it. Unfortunately, for Cricket, he is quite a shy and nervous dragon so when his powers go haywire, he freaks out. His family tries there best to help Cricket master his powers but due to his shy nature, it takes him a while to get back out there to want to try again.

Often time he likes to get away from his other siblings and parents with the powers. Often he tells Zecora he wishes he had no abilities though Zecora tells Cricket in return that she is jealous because he has them. Cricket though loves Zecora the most and will often hang out at her work place since there are no living things to interact with there. However, Zecora can't keep her family from finding Cricket here hiding from his troubles.

As mentioned before, this issue is the worst during the day or around light, as such Cricket waits until it gets dark or covers himself to prevent light from touching his skin and charging his power. He finds this works as a temporary solution that allows him to interact with the creatures around him without causing his powers to explode out of him. Like his father and siblings, the spines on his body glow when his power activates so he can at least tell if he is charging up or not and if his powers are about to be unleashed.
