Biography
INIGO, the PRINCE OF THE NIGHT
Seeing as that the Night of the Nocturne would be the only time Nocturne eggs would become available, the entire lair was in a frenzy, eager to make a Nocturne dragon part of the family. As the elder dragons Merletta and Ravenger herded the excited little ones together, the younger, more agile dragons such as Migogna and Taffyta were sent out to dig for the eggs.
The stronger dragons in the lair - Scion, Widowna and Perizia - were sent to the Coliseum, where they battled it out with the various monsters, searching for the Mimics that carried the Strange Chest. In the end, however, it had been Popuria's astounding good luck that had led to one of the many chests that Migogna had dug up to contain a Nocturne egg.
Now, Popuria was a mother of many hatchlings - Deazal and Marly had both been exalted (and though she didn't say it, she rather missed the two), while Bloodrose, the more sensible of the three offspring of the first batch, had remained in the lair for a good while until she had gone to serve the Arcanist of her own accord. Coraltio, Maizepan and Candien were also exalted, and Lillia (sweet, sweet Lillia, her mother's expy) had been ultimately sent to the Arcanist - and thus, she was filled with a sense of motherly affection for the egg. And though it went unspoken, the whole lair understood: the Nocturne would be her hatchling to love.
Popuria cared for the egg like her own, rarely leaving its side while the others went about their daily duties, until it hatched, letting the little Light dragon tumble out, blinking. Popuria fell in love instantly, and the little dragon - whom she christened Inigo - latched onto her like a true hatchling would to its mother. Inigo was soon christened with a title: the Prince of the Night.
