Adalee

Hatching deep into the tangled wood, Adalee always had a wandering spirit. The hatchling started wandering as soon as her legs carried her, much to the chagrin of her birthparents and clan, who had a hard time keeping their eyes on the curious hatchling. One day she wandered too far...

It was Oberon who found the hatchling as she was hiding under a rock, dangerously close to where Luminax roams. At first the grumpy imperial considered leaving her there; surely her clan would come for her soon? But as soon as Adalee noticed him, she quickliy scuffled out of her hiding place and pressed her little body to his side, looking up at him with large, begging eyes. With a sigh, Oberon surrendered and let her climb up on his back to fly her back to the safety of the clan lair.

The clan, who had not welcomed new members for some time, quickly fell in love with the curious and sweet little imperial and while they did what they could to find her original clan, there were certainly quite a few among them who secretly hoped she would stay. Adalee thrived with the attention she recieved and while her curiosity remained she had learned her lesson and did not stray too far from the clan. In fact, she barely went more than thirty paces from Oberon, much to his dismay and the rest of the clan's barely concealed amusement.

Eventually the clan managed to establish contact with Adalee's birth clan with the help of the moon portal, but by then the hatchling was so settled in that she was devastated at the idea of leaving. The clans came to an agreement and Clan Silverfields got a new member.

Nearly everyone in the clan likes Adalee, but none more than Oberon. The grumpy, battle-hardened imperial is fiercely protective of his charge and while he sometimes puts on an act of annoyance everyone can see that she brings out a soft side nearly no one knew he had. Sometimes they can be found sleeping in a heap in the sun, one of Oberon's wings gently tucked around Adalee's body.
