Biography
Crystalline was raised as if she was made of glass, a delicate creature unable to hold her own. She grew up believing this was normal but it was when her parents disappeared that she learned the hard way how much that would ruin her life from the start. At the age of three weeks she discovered herself alone and in an unfamiliar world with no one to protect her. She was bullied by others, unable to do anything for herself. She was not strong enough for metal working or mining or fighting. Needle work fit her best many said. Until she met her mentor who raised her to become stronger and self reliant. She learned that she was not as delicate as glass but rather as strong as well forged steel and her delicate fearful demeanor fell away like slag on freshly cooled steel revealing a dangerous and worthy warrior.• • • She spent most of her teen days with her mentor as he became like a father to her guiding her through the world as she discovered more of herself in her training and travels. It was when he brought her back to her birth place Along their travels they decide to settle back in the Southern Icefields and begin their own… perhaps shaddier business than most would like to dabble in. Crystalline and Talvi opened up an outpost for run away criminals. A dangerous business that paid good money. Now as they have children their children have moved out and made their own outposts. Only criminals know their true line of work as the Iceglass family hides behind other passions. Crystalline picked up needle work and made her own fabrics and Talvi traded in rare stones. |
