SYMBOLS:

Brave Bonecarver's Scythe Apparel Bones are expertly carved and adorned with symbols of protection and plenty. 250

Blades, represented by Warrior's Way Weapons, Scythes, Cutlasses, Katanas, Valkyrie Blade, Broadswords, Rapiers, Footpads, Cleavers, and Spears: A symbol of purification, nobility, transition, protection, aggression, strength, and ability. Necromancers bearing blades can be expected to take on a more active role in their clan. They wield their powers of contagion on the battlefield and in defense of their allies. Often they represent Plaguebringer's desire to conquer and expand and they will urge their clan leaders to push Her plague into new territories.

Myers' choice of weapon is the Scythe- usually used for farming, but here, used for war and conquest. Though, this has a double meaning. Farming as seen as weak at first- taken for granted and not included in the grand scheme of things- but once it's needed, it's noticed, and it's just as important as anything else. If you control the food, you control everything. And that is what Myers wants.

Jewels and Jewelry, represented by Carousel jewelry, Bloodstone or Crystalcourt Cascades, Magister Regalia, Amulets, Pendants, Lockets, Earrings, and all Teardrop, Flourish, and Seraph apparel: A symbol of privilege, divinity, God-touched, and right to rule. Necromancers bearing jewelry are often the most accomplished of the Necromancers and leaders among their own kind. A Necromancer who takes jewels or jewelry as their symbol will be under intense scrutiny from the larger Necromantic community and must have the skills or arrogance to carry it off. Jewelry symbology is also conflated with color and gemstone symbology.

Like jewelry, Myers is arrogant. Impatient at times, even. He's determined to climb the ranks to prove himself to the Council- what with part of his loyalty to The Refuge ever since they took him in- and show that he is part of the example the Plaguebringer wants.

Incense and Miasma, represented by Crystal Censer, Dark Incense, Sanguine Plumage, Mist Chime, Incense Mantle, Smokeswirl and color variants, Power Up Aura, Warrior Spirit, Psion Rings and color variants, Warped Bangles, Pollen Shaker, Fortune Teller's Deck, Lovestruck Arrows, Flame Candles, Sage Lanterns, and NotN Castings: A symbol of benediction, blessing, asceticism, spiritual discipline, worship, and holy suffering. Necromancers carrying incense or spreading miasma are often ascetics. They are some of the most severe of Mother's Chosen and the least likely to tolerate other lifestyles or faiths. Many carry incense made from the fungal hyphae that grow around the Wrymwound. When inhaled it brings on a trace-like state and a spreading rash across the spine, similar to a Necromancer's stripes. Thus, the dragon being blessed is given a temporary taste of what it means to be Mother's Chosen.

Myers does not pick this symbol up for it's meaning- he picks it up for it's purpose. Growing up in a clan with his cousin who nearly looks like his own, yet isn't, and knowing that the other Necromancers would thoroughly pressure her- he doesn't want that. They are his weakness- he wants to care for her and lift her up. He wants her to be just as respected as him, when he gets there. This symbol will be his connection to her, and her connection to him. Not a symbol of faith and worship, but a symbol of bonding and family.


FAMILIAR:

HIGH-RANKING FAMILIAR | ENDURING GOBLIN Necromancers traditionally have a plague-themed familiar. The more obvious the plague-theme, the more distinguished the familiar. Highly esteemed or especially talented Necromancers will often have plague holiday familiars, while Nercroservus or Ghouls usually have the more common beastclans native to plague as their familiar. That being said, only Necroservus, Ghouls and lower-level Necromancers are limited in their choice of familiar. A high level Necromancer can have any plague-themed familiar they desire, from the lowest to the highest. However, all rules are made to be broken and some Necromancers that originate from outside the Plaguelands find familiars from their native Flights who are willing to join them in their cause.

Most would expect this to mean that this goblin serves the Plaguebringer and her essence, fighting for survival out in the Scarred Wastelands. Most are wrong! Myers met this specific goblin and, while yes, it was fending for it's life- but it was also being a silly little goofy creature just curious about the world! It fully noticed him after a while, Myers tried to feed it something nearby, and they've simply been besties since! Nicknames for them default to 'Little guy' or 'Small friend,' mainly because he hasn't named it yet and he doesn't know if it wants to name itself or not. This may change soon.

Rare eyes: Dragons with rare eyes are masters of transmutation. Some have command of several elements while others utilize their birth element in ingeniously clever ways, such as making fire run like water or wind carry the currents of lightning. While their strength and ability vary by individual, rare-eyed dragons are infallibly clever, sometimes too clever for their own good. With their ability to contort and transform their magic, dragons with rare eyes find the Trial of Contagion to be intuitive (if not easy) and are likely to pass, assuming they make it that far.

Despite falling into the stereotypes of the eye types (what with his technique of wielding earth as if it were dust), Myers wishes to break tradition and to do something different with this. It's difficult, though- especially when he doesn't even notice he's doing things that fall into a Necromancer's expectations of a Necrow. Though, that just makes him want to do more outlandish things to break out of those expectations.

-DEFINITELY has relations with antidote somewhat. whether that's a mentor-trainee relationship or an i'll-fight-you relationship, i have no idea!!!!
-this guy motivates me to do a necrolocke and to actually get more involved in forum stuff...
-extra notes. legit just acts arrogant and dramatic most of the time. unless it's a little buddy (familiar.) his personality just melts and he's just more like "awww :D hiii hru??? omg hiii!!!"
-big goals!!! very big.
-probably actually one of the few necromancers that likes the refuge. the ones outside his possible council don't really care or hate the place, but he thinks it's mostly cozy and nice. lots of weird characters but he also was raised around those weird characters.
-he's more agile than strong- his strength relies more on magic, his eyes, and his blade- which is technically a bit strange since he's a necrow. but- hey! one unique thing that breaks him out of that stereotype!!!
