Weird is... Well, to say the least, he's weird. He likes certain things that others usually find annoying, such as the game My Singing Monsters. He prefers to be alone and doesn't go too far away from his home unless he has to. He trusts almost anyone who speaks to him. Despite liking to be alone, Weird also likes to hang out with his handler, Mayfly, and certain other dragons. Such as Ramona.

Weird met Ramona when they were both hatchlings. When he first hatched, he was assigned the name "Weird" by his old handler, and then sold. It was hardly an hour of him being up for sale when his new handler bought him. She put him in the Nursery, where Brisky and Rintis immediately started caring for him. However, there was only one other hatchling there.

She was a Nocturne like him, with fiery eyes. Being from the Arcane flight originally, Weird had no idea what her eyes represented, but he liked them. They played together in the hatchery, and although they argued over some things, they seemed to get along most of the time and became close. After about a day in the nursery, upon hearing stories from Rintis, Weird realized he had a crush on Ramona, but felt insecure about it. He went to Rintis and told the Gaoler about his feelings, and Rintis gave him the nudge he needed. Weird told Ramona how he felt, and after a long conversation, a bit of confusion, and a chat with Brisky and Rintis, they decided to become mates.

Besides Brisky, Rintis, and Ramona, Weird is not really friends with any other dragons in the Clan. However, he is friends with his Handler, Mayfly. After talking with her for the first time, he found out how odd she was, and upon her showing him My Singing Monsters, their affection grew for each other, and they became friends.
