The dunes are hot, dry, utterly empty.

"It's been so long since I've seen them. I know they live somewhere here. If I remember correctly. . .they live here? No no, not here. Oh! Here!. . .no, wait. . ."

He mutters a quiet sigh as he continues through the dusty landscape searching for who he calls his family. Nate seeks for his home, a place he repeatedly imagines in his head. He knows they have to live somewhere in a desert, someplace in a sahara. . .but where? It's been far too long without their warm memories in his mind, barely able to reminisce about anything further than his birth, already a challenge in itself.

The Spiral yearns to find them, to see two similar-colored drakes maybe even looking for him. He lives on his instinct as he wide-spreads these lands, keeping his head high and watchful for a roving band looking for a missing dragon. Nate's hopes heighten as he finds possible stragglers or natives, but deflate just as fast when he discovers they aren't who he searches for.
He cannot stop now. Perhaps they're just around the next sand dune. . .
