Koura

Koura has a cheeky personality and likes to maintain an upbeat attitude. She is amiable and gets along with others really well. Koura enjoys bantering and cracking jokes as a way to break the ice. When another dragon annoys or angers her, she doesn't outwardly display it. Instead, she attempts to get payback, using their actions as a reason to do something morally questionable herself.

Koura is an obelisk that aspires to be an adventurer. She goes on various journeys throughout Sornieth to find all sorts of treasures! When Koura runs out of missions to go on, she may resort to theft. With a such kind face and a floofy mane, its hard to consider her as a suspect. Especially since Koura is skilled at hiding the stolen objects within said mane. She often brings the goods to Ruil, her familiar, so he can identify their value. Even so, she has a vague sense that she being ripped off at times.

Koura found Ruil in a dungeon and brought him home with her thinking she'd be able to sell the trunk he resided in. Unbeknownst to her, there was a creature living within it. You could imagine her surprise when saw shadowy arms extending from it one day. She decided against selling him as it felt wrong to do so. She and Ruil live in a cave amongst the bleached roots of an old forest.

As for how she earned her title, Koura tends to cover an area in a dark mist before she snags something valuable. She uses that same mist launch her attacks on unsuspecting foes. She can change the pH of her fumes to deal excessive damage or use it as cover for striking an enemy. When her foe fights back, she'll swiftly turn to stone based on the composition of minerals in a surrounding area. When not under an elemental influence, she'll often become a statue of pyromorphite. On an unrelated note, she always smells like mangos.
