Lineage

Biography

A resident of the Endless Forest and champion of the Twin Gods, Quad is really an antelope. He is gifted (or cursed if you would prefer) with light powers as well as the unique ability to never die. If he were ever to experience death, his 'soul' would appear as a ball of light, collect into a spot, and form into a new body. This unique power is due to his fulfillment to the forest gods - that he would defeat his arch nemesis, Iugulare, and fight the powers of darkness.

This war between light and dark was put onto a temporary truce when a new threat, Noctuis, appeared. Quad and Iugulare joined forces to fight him, and during an intense battle, a wormhole was opened that sent Quad, Iugulare, and potentially others from the Endless Forest to the land of the dragons.

Separated and suffering from memory loss, Quad found himself in the Scarred Wasteland, and met with several hungry plague dragons. He used his light abilities to fight them off, but then was confronted by the Plaguebringer herself. Against the godly dragon, Quad was no match, and in her grasp, he began to contract countless infectious diseases. Suffering and nearly dead, he would be rescued by a handful of light dragons and the Lightweaver herself. The Plaguebringer contested that Quad was her prey as he appeared in the Scarred Wasteland, but the Lightweaver laid claim to him due to his light powers. As she left with him in her arms, the Plaguebringer would vow that she would claim the antelope one day.

Quad would not survive the trip back to the Sunbeam Ruins, and his body was brought to the Sun Dial. The Lightweaver extracted his 'soul' and placed it into that of an unhatched light egg. He was reborn into a dragon's body, with only brief memories of his life as an antelope due to amnesia. He would begin a clan of dragons as he believes this is truly his home, though he would frequently remember tiny bits of memory.

So begins the race to reclaim his memory and return to his true home. But for now, he is enjoying himself here. Despite being the Twin Gods' champion, all Quad has ever wanted was a peaceful, normal life.
