Starting Line

A wandering Mercenary of sorts, she was at one point a single mother who lost her young child in a way she refuses to speak of. For a long time after this trauma she closed herself off to the world, with no desire to stay alive, but unable to bring herself to end her life. She buried herself in her travels and work, for at least that gave a distraction from the deep sadness in her heart. She refused to take on any jobs that involved escorting people with children though, and ended up quite popular with people who preferred not talking much, buried in their own work, or with secrets to keep.

But then a merchant named Taalfir hired her, and by some miracle he managed to break through her long standing and fiercely guarded walls.
