Unlike most other of their brethren, these children of the Tidelord stayed in the waters, diving and swimming where their fellow guardians were flying and running. They travelled their vast sea, living almost their entire lives in their deity’s domain, every surface war and peacetime unknown to them. This legacy has continued for millenia, leading this small group to develop new traits and beautiful, vibrant camouflage. After living in reefs and shallow waters for ages, these select dragons have taken on the coloration of the fish surrounding them after generations of change. These guardians are very peaceful, their wings sporting the patterns of calming bubbles floating toward the sea’s surface. Every guardian’s wing pattern is unique, and certain patterns signify royal lineages. After being underwater for so long, it is possible these dragons have garnered the blessing of the Tidelord himself…

These dragons have been around for a long time, but over the last few centuries they have dwindled to smaller numbers and fewer in-between, so they have decided to make themselves known and even start expanding to non-water lairs.
