Yaro

Yaro looks at his captors in disgust. He is chained up, for now. But he will soon be free. He knows exactly how to play into the minds of these brutish dragons that think they can hold a mage like him. But first, he doesn’t do anything. Yaro lets them speak, lets them gloat, lets them discuss their plans with each other, and most importantly, lets them leave. Now only the jailer is left in the room with him. That’s the time to strike.

“So they’re letting you die, then.” The jailer, a rather young dragon, looks startled because of Yaro’s voice. “No? Why would you think that?”, he replies, sounding slightly uncertain about the situation. Yaro only scuffs in reply. “Because they locked me up here without any magical blocks on these chains.”, he says calmly. “They know I’m a powerful mage, right? I can break free easily like this, and kill you.” The jailer’s face turns slightly pale, and he stares at the hains that are holding Yaro. “Why didn’t you do it yet then?”, he then asks. A brave question, Yaro is impressed. But Yaro also teleports closer to the jailer, out of the chains that were binding him. “Better?”, he asks slyly, staring at the young dragon in front of him. The jailer now looks terrified, and rightfully so. “Are you going to kill me?”, the poor dragon whispers. But Yaro shakes his head. “I will let you live if you don’t sound the alarms. Let me go and exact my revenge. I will go get you when it’s done.”

The jailer nods, frightfully of course. And Yaro gracefully bows to him before leaving. And before staying away for three days, before returning to the cell where he was held captive. The jailer is still there, still terrified. “Thank you my boy, I am done. You can go now!”, Yaro exclaims, and the young jailer hurries out of the cell…

Only to find that there is nothing left of his clan.
