______Viresse has seen the rise and fall of the clan not once, but twice in her lifetime.

Appearing shortly after the arrival of the Nocturnes, Viresse showed up on the doorstep of the clan, small, but not exactly helpless. She followed the leaders of the clan around as she grew, those first few months, and learned much from simply observing them.

When the Ice Wraith and the Shadetouched Spiral came, she learned of magic, both useful and foul. She tossed together herbs and spices and reagents, made powerful mixtures. When Baldwin came, with his alchemy and his brews, she learned only to better her current concoctions. When Baldwin changed she learned of the risk of mutation and deformity.

When the Shadetouched Spiral was thrown out, she learned of betrayal. Accused of conspiring with the Spiral, she was outcast in the clan, and Viresse huddled away in her nook of the lair, mixing and providing little-known medicines of the old and obscure.

When Msitumu arrived in the clan, she taught him everything he knew. She changed his colors, changed his genes at his request, worked all the odd magic that she knew to give him what he desired, in exchange for companionship. When Mopombe arrived, they took him in and taught him, as well.

Now, the three of them work and toil away at potions, medicine, and alchemy, with Viresse quietly orchestrating the two large Wildclaws from the shadows. Nobody can say they know her intent, but all give the three a wide berth, if they pass one another in the hallways.
