and w goldie and scrooge well they get drawn into other universes often as a matter of course, no? so easy to shove them in. and the ineffable husbands? well time doesnt pass the same between universes of course so they can go on a vacation to thsi part of the Sornieth multiverse for a few generations adn everything remaining the same when they return, give or take a couple weeks/months/years maybe. and kitt and michael and anyone else? whoops a Big Hole opened under them and dumped them here!

maybe izzys new guardian body Does Not Fit, so he changes to smthn more similar in size and build to what his original body is? and the guardian charge bond seems like something that wouldnt Just Go Away either; not without posing a serious problem to the guardian/ex guardians body and mind alike. a breedchange is probably fine, maybe some chest pain for a few weeks/months, but Actually Trying to Disappear The Bond could Mess You Up Severelike
oh imagine his bond changing subtly until one day it just Clicks that. oh. its not Just Ed, its The Crew As A Whole, just bc he has A Whole Thing For Ed (and stede too tho it takes him a bit to puzzle out and lordy lord his Having To Deal With That when he does) its a stronger bond between them. basically stronger social bonds=stronger guardian/charge bonds
