The statue lays on their side atop the pedestal, slouched and slightly curled-in.
This guardian lays on their side. With one wing outstretched to the heavens. Notably, the wing, marked by the bee and crafted of amber glass, is crooked in an unnatural way. Thankfully, the glass mostly remains in-tact, but the wing itself looks broken. The guardian’s other wing, folded tightly to their back, and slightly beneath them, seems fine.
The guardian themself has a face full of sorrow. With tired eyes, half-lidded and carved of orange agate, they stare off into the distance. Still, even injured, the guardian keeps their watch…
The tail droops over the side of the pedestal, curly, carved fur cascading almost to the ground. The guardian’s legs are just as limp, the detailed statue showing even the toes are slightly curled in.
Still, held steadfast in the guardian’s forelegs is an orb, polished, and made of pyrite, sparkling in the sun.
The poor thing already looks to be exhausted. . .
