Biography

Divinity is a curious young dragon, majorly confined to the thick woods in her childhood. She is a whizz with herbs, but not so much with magic, she can be a real disaster to be around. The only magic she can properly perform is seeing. Future sight is her speciality. Divinity rescues and guides lost dragons out of the dangerous forest, much to Twilight's disapproval. Even though she has been wandering these woods her whole life, her mother doesn't particularly like it when Divinity goes out at night. This is how she met one of her friends, Fraser. He often travels through the forest, collecting the unusual plants and berries from its plentiful bounty. Sometimes Divinity sneaks off to the villages and clans her sells his wares at, helping him along in exchange for company and exotic plants she and her mother didn't have access to in the Whispering Wilds.

Lore blip I decided to write:

The darkness of the Whispering Wilds was no place for a small dragonet at night, at the edge of the Light territories shadowy creatures lurked at the borders, brambles grew up from the ground, threatening to entangle small and large talons alike. Dragons of the light alignment weren't exactly welcomed with warm arms in the land of the Shadowbinder.

Deep within the foliage, a small spiral dragonet curled herself into a pile sniffling into her mound of coils. Where was Mama? She had left her and said she'd come right back. Where had she gone? Why did she have to leave for so long?

"Mama be back later, I stay." The dragonet murmured softly to herself, coiling around her small snake-like body even more tightly. Small snuffles and sniffles emitted quietly into the night from the bramble thicket Divinity was hiding in.

Attracting unwanted attention.

Heavy footsteps echoed through the eerie night, crunches of dried bracken and foliage came soon after, coming

Closer.

And closer.

And closer

A large cloaked figure came into sight of the small spiral, her vision distorted by the many spiked branches jabbing her in many places, unable to make out who or what they were.

Divinity jerked her small head back, tears forgotten. This large creature was scary, would they hurt her?

A sharp intake of breath from her nostrils alerted the figure of the dragonet's presence.

They whipped their head around to face the direction the sound had come from, slowly walking forward.

A slight glow from some luminous mushrooms nearby reflected against the creature's face, giving a vague outline of its' features.

Large horns, sharp teeth, shaggy fur.

Is it a dragon, or... something much worse?

Their yellow eyes glinted in the dim lighting, fabric swishing against the ground, reminding Divinity of her of the patchwork blanket her mother had made for her.

Divinity's heart sped up, primal fear overtaking her foggy brain, starting to scramble away from the thing, quickly entangling her small limbs in the bramble.

A whimper escaped the vulnerable Spiral's mouth, tears beginning to sting at the corners of her eyes once again.

"Mama!" she wailed struggling uselessly, scratching her delicate hatchling body.
She full out bawled, crying and crying.

Could the scary thing just go away??

"I want Mama!" She wailed again, hot tears of terror splashing to the ground.

"Shhhh, shhh- it's alright little one. I won't hurt you." The creature said softly, pulling back it's hood, revealing a sunshine yellow face of a young female Obelisk.

She reached out and gently unsnarled the trembling dragonet from the clutches of the bramble thicket. Cupping the child in her glowing blue talons, she brought Divinity to eye level.

Divinity didn't struggle in the stranger's grip, she simply shivered and stared silently up at the Obelisk.
"Where's your parent?" She said in a concerned tone of voice, scanning the damage the brambles had done to the softly scaled Spiral.

"Mama say she be right back!" Divinity yelled at her, tears falling down her small snout.

A deep flash of sympathy made it's way across the stranger's snout, she knew something.

"Your Mama... does she look like you?" The Obelisk asked, her face converting into a look of deep worry, her tail began to twitch across the ground, she was getting nervous about sitting here too long.

"Me think?" The child said questionably, looking down at her black and white talons, the patterns across her body resembled bones.
