Biography
Registered The Avariels dragon as Dysia's Mate
Hatchling Days:
Goldion lived in an outside kingdom as royalty. He wasn't the leading heir of the kingdom due to having several older siblings. (FIND A NAME IDK and add more dynamics maybe if important later) He was raised to be serious, quiet, and to follow all rules and not get out of line so to speak. Being a younger sibling, he was held to a lower standard than his older siblings who were jealous of this. But he knew that because of his younger status, he was not needed or couldn't fulfill a role within the monarchy. He desperately wanted to become a knight and get glory for the kingdom.
Teen Days:
His parents became stricter as he aged and put more and more pressure on him to be perfect. He wasn't the strongest dragon and this was something his parents and the other's within the royal court nagged him about. They often compared him to his siblings. He began to notice the stress that was on both of his parents as time went by. He soon learned that the kingdom was under immense pressure from another kingdom. He wasn't sure what was going on in his family's politics, but he was very worried.
He continued to study and master the dark arts as a shadow dragon. He became very good at forming things from the shadows to use on the battlefield. He also continued his studies of the other kingdoms and their cultures. It soon became apparent that he was extremely smart and was a quick thinker. This became a strong quality to have and the royal court began to take notice. This led to him being able to sit in on royal strategic meetings. This angered his older brother greatly since he had not gotten this privilege even as the heir of the kingdom.
Young Adult Days:
On the day of his brother's coronation, his kingdom was suddenly attacked by an enemy kingdom. Many were lost including much of his family. His brother, Volorion, was badly injured from the attack and was very weak. Goldion was agile enough to avoid some of the falling debris of the castle to get to his brother. He used the strength he had to shroud his brother in thin shadow armor, a skill he only learned a week before. He did his best to half carry half fly him out of the collapsing castle to the ruined streets below. He found a spot to adjust his brother onto his back and flew over the inner city of the kingdom onward. He only stopped once to hide from the attacking dragons but continued onward over the sea. Here he was spotted by his enemies and shot out of the sky. Feeling weak he couldn't get back to his brother and crashed in WaterDeep.
A bright pink and blue dragon came upon him after seeing the falling dragons from the sky. She dragged Goldion back to what seemed like her home and cared for his injuries the best she could. He was in utter despair after losing the only one left of his family and did not know if he was safe. He kept quiet about his history and what had happened to him out of fear of being found. Soon another dragon came back with Galya after a day. He knew the hot pink dragon didn't have much to help cover his injuries. He thought this new dragon was beautiful. He hadn't seen such vibrant colors before because he had never been outside of his kingdom.
As he healed, he learned the other dragon's name was Dysia. He also learned she lost her chance to become a warrior for Waterkeep due to helping the outcast, Galya, and a dragon from the outside. He felt guilty for this but couldn't do much. Eventually, Goldion and Dysia became mates and stayed with Galya, and the young hatchling Dysia found.
