Name grew up in a small village nestled in the forested hills. As a hatchling, he showed an affinity for caring for injured animals and helping the local wise dragon with her herbal remedies.

His parents hoped he would become a great hunter one day. But Name was more interested in learning about medicinal plants from the forest shamans and healers.
