Halcyon

Enya watched as the first of the two eggs cracked, Mehri next to her with bated breath. Their parents were on the other side of the nest, watching carefully as well. It was hard waiting while the cracks spread across the egg ever so slowly, like the branches of a tree.

Then, suddenly, the eggshell fell apart and a small dragonet tumbled out. Their colors were muted and their patterns faint as ever, Enya watching as her mother scoops them up and starts cleaning them. The second egg was slowly starting to crack now, as if encouraged by the first.

"Sibling number three!" Mehri squeaked with excitement. "And soon-to-be sibling four!"

Enya couldn't help but frown at that first statement. Hadn't there always been three of them? A headache suddenly kicked in, and she lightly shook her head in an attempt to fend it off.

No, it had just been her and Mehri up to this point. She must've been thinking about some weird dream she had recently.

- Their childhood is... going to be interesting. Like learning an older sibling existed who got wiped out of everyone's mind, and all the trouble Enya and Mehri get themselves into to help save the frickin world.
- They're part of the generation that grows up in the aftermath of all that, which I would say what but grrr spoilers. Just know the entire world was kinda thrown astray afterwards.
- Has a neutral outlook on the world, sees both the good and bad in it. Just wants everything to not be so confusing or chaotic.
- Honestly would be neat if he was on of the main perspectives at this point in time, simply travelling around from place to place to record the affects, and learn what else about the world may have changed.
