Even as a young dragon, Max always had a proclivity towards theft. Often times, his clan would find small things missing. These weren't always things of great value, just objects that the small nocturne could slip past watching eyes and his caregivers. As he grew and became more aware of the definition of value, more expensive things started to go missing. It took a long time but eventually, members of his clan became aware of his pastime, particularly when he suddenly became the possessor of expensive apparel and items that he could never afford.

Max has never felt any remorse for his actions, in fact, he often says that if someone allows something to be taken, they don't deserve it anyway. Deep down, he just enjoys the thrill. The harder the steal, the more fun he has.

Like valuables, Max also prides himself in his ability to steal the hearts of the ladies. His quick wit and charm have more than once allowed him into the chambers of an already mated dragon. And...more than once, he'd found himself high tailing it out of the lair while laughing all the way when that dragoness' mate steps in on them.
