Council Position: Head of Magical Arts

History: Marak came to the clan out of the blue as a hatchling. While many of the clan members were having their evening meal, there was a flash of purple magic, and Marak was sitting happily in Naami's salad. There was general mayhem since no one knew what species he was, and why he appeared in thin air

Now: Since then, his ability to control portals has gotten only slightly better. There are still many cases where objects, and sometimes other dragons, will randomly show up or disappear. No one knows where he goes off to most of the time, and there are rumors that he has the ability to go to different worlds. One strange side affect of his magical abilities, is that his size will often change. Sometimes he is as large as an Imperial, and sometimes he is as small as the smallest Nocturne. These side affects are only temporary, and he will eventually revert back to his normal size.

Suaco has promoted Marak to Head of Magical Arts after much debate with the rest of the council. He was not their first choice for the job, but Takako was not at proficient at magic, and Stitch was more interested in his crafts. With some reluctance he was admitted to the council board, where he has proven himself to be very capable of handling the position.

When not flitting about through portals, Marak studies other magics and explains them to the clan. It is part of his job to understand and explain magical phenomena, and help solve problems that magic creates.

Marak has taken to mimicking Takako, and this is how he has gotten better at his arcane abilities. He has also started to mimic Lailyn (much to the clan's dismay and Lailyn's delight), as she is the only other dragon who has taken an interest in him.
