Biography

nXKI4pB.png
Uh-oh, looks like this proud lion wandered a little too far from her home lair (570686, LabyrinthianLost), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Aslan and Judaia were important figures in the clan, Leynth knew. Her parents helped keep the Sun District running smoothly and were generally gazed upon with respect and adoration. Maybe it was because of who her dad's own father was - a well-respected retired traveler - that he was so well-liked. Whatever it was, it meant that Leynth's parents were often busy - too busy to spend much time with her. Leynth practically raised herself, with help of course from her aunt, teaching herself how to hunt and scavenge, how to find water in the tunnels that splintered off from the city. She grew quite proficient, in fact. It became a point of pride with her. However, something must've happened because, after a while, her parents started staying at home more often.

They began trying to teach her the things she already knew, coddling her and assuming her incapable. It was suffocating. Leynth loved them, and she was glad that something had changed to let them spend more time with her, but it was just too much. No, Leynth wasn't a stranger to the idea of traveling, but she had never put much thought into doing it herself. She was perfectly content to explore the winding tunnels all day, to provide for herself all the food, water and shelter she could need. But she knew she had to get away. She would never been the impressionable new hatchling her parents were looking for. So one day, she just slipped into the darkness and out into the light. She would return when she'd proved herself capable and worthy - not just to herself, but to anyone else who questioned her skill.
