When Caelin flew early from the Shifting Wastes to the Faeclaw clan, an odd flash of color caught his eye; colors that matched his own. Swooping down he saw the shattered remains of a strange, unfamiliar egg; and to his horror, the half-dead hatchling within. To this day, no one is entirely sure what happened. Perhaps the egg broke too early; perhaps a predator smashed it open and fled on finding a live hatchling other than yolk. Either way, without Caelin seeing her it's likely the little hatchling would have died.

She's still quite the frail little Nocturne and can quickly become tired and weary. This greatly aggravates her and she spends much of her time pushing herself to exhaustion, celebrating any noticable difference in her fitness. She's becoming quite the talented spellcaster as a result.

Star has bonded very closely with the Imperials in the clan - especially Caelin - and has taken to their aloof and distant natures well, to the point where the Fae have mistaken her for one of the other Imperials if they can't see the speaker. She adores her adoptive clan and works hard with Laburnum to act as the Imperial spokesdragon when dealing with sensitive communication and disagreeances.
