Biography
Zinnie, the dragon with dull scales lived her life in isolation, deep within the heart of a dense woodland. The other dragons in the lair seemed to avoid her, for reasons she couldn't fathom. As time passed, darkness began to cloud her thoughts, and a sense of melancholy settled in her heart.
One day, amidst the silence of her lair, she felt an unfamiliar burning sensation deep within her. It was an inexplicable urge to be near water, to immerse herself in its soothing embrace. At first, she dismissed it as a passing whim, but the yearning only grew stronger with each passing day. Finally, unable to resist any longer, Zinnie made a decision that would change her life forever.
The duty of fishing for the rest of her clan was a tedious task, but Zinnie willingly accepted it, knowing that it would lead her to the water she longed for.
Guided by her intuition, Zinnie found herself standing on a sandy beach, facing the vast expanse of the ocean. Two dragons, Koa and Hetira, accompanied her. Hetira was focused on catching fish on the shore, using her razor-sharp claws to snatch them from the water. Koa, on the other hand, soared above, scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. As Zinnie stood there, her heart pounding, every instinct in her body urged her to jump into the water. A voice whispered in her mind, promising safety and belonging among the depths. But her fear and anxiety, born out of years of lonesomeness, fought against this instinct, creating a battle within her. Finally, summoning every ounce of courage, Zinnie took a deep breath and stepped into the water. No sooner had her scales come into contact with the gentle waves than a rush of happiness, like she had never felt before, flooded over her. The coolness of the water caressed her skin, washing away her loneliness and pain. With newfound joy coursing through her veins, Zinnie swam with grace and elegance, her wings gliding effortlessly beneath the surface. All around her, vibrant sea creatures wrapped her in a tapestry of color, embracing her with their song.
When she returned to the den with a mouthful of massive fish, the other dragons instantly noticed a change within the once-dull dragon. Zinnie’s scales shimmered brightly and a smile was plastered on her face. Some dragons began to approach her in awe - what happened to the weird, isolated hatchling they once knew? As she placed the fish down, she began to tell her story of the ocean to all the nature dragons who were willing to listen.
