Winter Elemental

Personality: Cold, self-isolating tendencies, honest, frigid, responsible, cooperative, stubborn, and philosophical.

Role: A winter and ice presence, helps with the changing of seasons from autumn to winter and then to spring.

Familiar: Winter Sphinx named Blizzard, eternal companion.

Past: Winter, since she was a hatchling, was perfectly fine being alone. Even though we were an abandoned egg in the coldest part of the Southern Icefield, it did not make a difference in her life in the slightest. Isolation was all she knew, and all she needed. The cold was serene to her, quiet, peaceful. When she reached adolescence, she came across a cub huddled in a pile of snow with tiny feathered wings covering him. Winter observed the cub, realising he was abandoned and alone as she was and in some way, it made her long for a connection. They have been together ever since, and share the same power of manipulating the weather into icy conditions, a gift from the Icewarden himself.

Winter was not invited into her current clan at first, in fact, no one in the clan noticed she was ever there. She simply appeared one day and stayed among the many dragons that called the clan home. It was only when she began forming bonds did they notice her presence, and realised that she was the reason why they had plentiful snow when winter came around in its yearly cycle. But she still tends to hide away to be alone. Socialising takes so much energy from her.

Present: Patches of snow among the territory of the clan let others know that she is still around, however, they worry when they have not seen it for a long time and assume she had left the clan and they would be right. From time to time, she gets homesick and travels to Southern Icefield and into Snowsquall Tundra to be in her element. The forest always felt like home, especially with the sounds of wolves howling at night.

But eventually, she would return to the clan after some days or weeks of being away. Winter does not enjoy remaining in one place for too long, but she cooperates when given orders by the clan leaders, although, she can be stubborn if she does not agree with the order. Clan members are still unsure of her presence and place in the clan and are unsure of her role in the clan as well. But they have learned to let her be after she had frozen a few dragons who did not leave her alone.

Mate

Mate: When Winter first came to the clan, she was resistant to the idea of making friends or the possibility of forming a mating bond. Spring was such a dragon that caught her attention, having been abandoned just like herself, he had a different upbringing and an opposite personality. Winter thought that perhaps her mate should be similar to her, but found someone to be the opposite much more interesting. Spring spoke to her more than anyone else, and vice versa. She was content in meeting another seasonal elemental just like herself. Eventually, confessions were made, and have stayed together happily ever since. He seemed like the only dragon to ever understand her, to not judge her, to not change her. It was all she wanted, and his company had always comforted her, and he was more than willing to handle her chill.

Autumn
Best Friend

Best Friend: Winter had met Autumn not long after she had adopted Blizzard as her companion. Being elementals and having been lonely made them bond quite quickly, especially when they work together to change the seasons. Autumn is slightly more energetic than Winter, and he always somehow managed to get her to get up and become more active with that energy. At times, both of them want to bundle up and enjoy the cold temperature but unfortunately separate when migrating as the seasons change. But when they return at the same time, it is as if time had never passed. Their company had made it easier to endure clan life.

Summer
Enemy

Enemy: Winter got Spring as a mate for the reason of them being opposites, but they are not opposites compared to Winter and Summer. Winter had always despised Summer for how different they were. She is cold, while Summer is hot, and it makes Winter think she is melting whenever she is around her. She wants nothing to do with Summer, but luckily they rarely cross paths due to the distance of their seasons, and does not mind Spring being best friends with her at least.
