Found lingering near the outskirts of the clan one day, Cole is a talented fighter with a penchant for silent but merciful deathblows on weakened rivals and enemies. He takes poor care of himself and his physical appearance, but his approachable and gentle nature has led friends in the clan to do their best to help keep him from leaving injuries untended after battles.

Though he never talks much, Cole did discuss his past with the Scouting team, showing a particular affinity for Rukh and Yulia. He apparently was once a scout in his own clan, but after a ruthless attack by the local longnecks left him badly injured, he was presumed dead and abandoned. Recovery took a great deal of time, magic, and luck, and during that time Cole was alone, aside from the local flora and fauna. He has a deep connection with the clan's familiars, and cares for them, tending their needs as a self-styled veterinarian.
