❝AT A GLANCE “For, in a word, if one thinks himself made beautiful by gold, he is inferior to gold; and he that is inferior to gold is not lord of it.” ― Clement of Alexandria, The Instructor Candlelight flickers alongside Ashoka in the dark, dancing energies glinting off the emmaculate, shined surfaces of woven metal in various stages of completeness surrounded about them, or him as their customers have decided upon. They don't mind, him suits them just as well as any other descriptor. He cares not for his attention is focused on their craft, their devotion only for pure, glittering gold. Adorned in the opulence of the earth: jewels, metals, and fine fibers, Ashoka manipulates the mineral spendors of the world to create delicate works of art, each set a masterpiece to the jewler. Rings, bracelts, earings, necklaces, and other fragile pieces are fashioned in his workspace which saddles up nicely to his mate's statue workshop. Those who seak the finest of jewels, gems, and oppulence come to Ashoka, a dragon who agressively knows how to flaunt the finest things a dragon can buy. ❝MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE As rumors and reputation grew about Lasya's Rest, Ashoka was one of the first crafts worker to come and inspect the budding clan. Their eyes were drawn not to the location, but to the rumors of an obsessed sculptor having settling down in the borders of their domain. Fancing themselves as a master of their craft, they went to meet Trygalle who swiftly humbled them by their immediate indiference to them. Insulted, intrigued, and humiliated, Ashoka immediately set up their shop, hoping to rival Trygalle's own devotion to their work. Over time, that rivalry has morphed into love and care, the two of them having a strange, unintentional relationship, but neverthelessm they are here to stay. |
