Leo

As a young dragon, Leo was a starving artist struggling to find his Muse. He wandered the countryside until he stumbled across a tiny cottage in the woods. Struck by Inspiration, he had little thoughts aside from desperately painting as fast as he could before the artist block kicked in again.

To his surprise, he had nearly finished the painting when an irritated buzzing alerted him to a presence behind him. A large wildclaw under a beekeeping veil peered down at him, her arms crossed. She wanted to know what he was doing at her house. He frantically explained himself and she seemed to calm down. She even invited him for tea!

The more he stayed in the village the more he enjoyed it and rhe more inspired he became. The two fell in love and together they followed their dreams: Leo’s of becoming a well known painter, and Aelia’s of selling delicious teas and honeys.

When Aelia told him she was with egg, Leo was overjoyed! He set about converting a storage room in their cottage to a nursery and helped Aelia decorate as she saw fit. The young couple were over the moon when she laid 3 eggs. They were wonderful supportive parents and loved their children with all their hearts. Leo encouraged their children to follow their dreams, which they did. He worried for Clove, their youngest. He was playing a dangerous game in the Royal City, where he was courting one of the young princes. Though he was worried for him, the way Clove wrote about his love and feelings for the prince made Leo inspired, and infinitely grateful there was never anything like that between him and Aelia when they were younger.
