Biography
Manah: The Valiant.
Rank 2: Squire of the Lightgarde
Companion-At-Arm of The Lightgarde.
Member of Squad 4: Skystrike, Kit, Manah.
With a strong sense of justice she seeks to do what she can for the good of the clan and the Lightgarde. She is Skystrike's squire and trainee in the ways of the Lightgarde, this is extremely important because Lightgarde etiquette is different from the Avavu Clan's normal etiquette. Both must be mastered if one is a member of the Lightgarde because the knights are like a clan within the clan, and also serve the clan as well as the Goddess Lightweaver.
A bit overeager and with a intense desire for adventure, Manah has a good heart and a real talent for swordsmanship, which is why she was paired with Skystrike, a master swordsman. She was given to the Avavu Clan from the Nephilym Clan during the Night of the Nocturne, and is loyal to both clans, as she should be. Like many Plague dragons, she's extremely hardy and adaptable to any situation, but she is quick to anger and lose herself in the heat of battle which makes her vulnerable. The more even tempered and expertly trained Skystrike exploits this and gains even more of a advantage when they train, but she says with the utmost confidence that Manah will become a fearsome knight one day.
In a fearsome battle on the edge of The Scarred Wasteland, Manah was injured during what was supposed to be a routine training mission. She became infected with a deadly virus that should have killed her if she was any other element than Plague, however she was hardy and determined and only spent a week under Bladesinger's intensive care. The incident did not leave her unscathed, she now bears the scaring left by the flesh eating virus. Distraught and ashamed she dawned a mask to hide her disfigurement from the clan, yet despite her best efforts still hides her face from others and for a long while yet would not meet the eyes of another. Feeling like a failure for what she believes to be her most disgraceful loss and show of weakness she almost fell out of the clan completely.
That was... until Temujin came into her world. Temujin confronted her in her darkest hour and scolded her for wallowing in her own self pity, claiming it was not her loss that made her weak but her reluctance to keep going. He was harsh yes, but she needed to hear it. Flustered that a clan-mate, no, a Nature dragon could have more inner strength than her? Unacceptable, and with those harsh words Manah began to truly heal. Since then Temujin and Manah became sparing partners and began to trust one another, and in time set aside there differences to become something much more. Even though they give each other a hard time and even seem brutally honest about each others shortcomings, they only do so to make the other become stronger.
