High King, he once reigned with a heavy and tyrannical hand, exercising his power over others cruelly and violently. He exalted many of his enemies to the Plaguebringer, along with many of the dragons that he ruled over. He was focused solely in bringing his Plague Goddess to her highest power.

Though devout to the Plaguebringer, Evanghard's inner circle disapproved of the reckless abandonment and savagery in which he ruled over his subjects, too brutal for even the Plague Flight. For years they bided their time, plotting against him. One night, in the dead of winter, they usurped his throne. They replaced him with their new Matriarch who was still only a hatchling, Keres. In the aftermath, Evanghard withered away deep in the dungeons of Void Loom, not even a mere whisper of the formidable being he once was.

He stayed trapped there, alone and forgotten until a loyal subject crept into the depths and stole him away. He recovered his strength and took back his throne. He rules Void Loom once again, but his time in captivity tempered him. He commands his subjects now with a fair and steady control, rather his previous methods of domination and destruction.
