At nine, Synsarea is the oldest dragon in my lair.

Synsarea represents a part of my feminism: the personhood we have which yearns for respect and to be seen, not as a commodity but as someone who has their own desires, skills, curiosities, and passions, and more to give than what society expects of them.
Once, she was looked upon and admired, and became the mother of generations; some of which were sent to the stars, all of which were special and marked their place in the heart of her.
Then someone saw something in her; her self, warmly welcomed.
Former life behind, she has become the resident writer, calligrapher, and ink artist, encouraging others towards communication and self-expression.
And it's here in the cool, mossy depths of the garden cave that she's found serenity,
and will live out the rest of her days.
