Raith is a level-headed, calm veilspun who has no true ambition to her. she has a yarn knitted cloak around her back, a beige scarf now pulled around her neck, seemingly thrown on lazily and slung on by a whim. several wooden pearls are wrapped around her chest, knotted together and trailing down her back and hanging off her legs and wings beneath the yarn cloak.
she sees the world simply, it moving along like a river to the sea. everything has its place, and, she has her own too. she's content how life is--no ambition to change it. her spiritual nature brings along her job of protecting nomads who strive to find the nile.

whoever has fallen is risen from their grave, given salvation and reawakened to continue journey after journey.

raith lives along the nile ruled by sobek. she has a small cave, which, she's built herself from a dune using clay and sandstone. she enjoys her little home, it not much but it all she needs in the end.

" i watch a nomad spiral, trucking along the sands that whirl around in the heated breeze. they couldn't swim in the wind, only moving along the sand like a struggling short-legged corgi in a field of mud. i could see their joints moving like rusty hinges, and, the scales holding shape while they move. before long i saw them pass out from heat exhaustion, tumbling down a dune, sand kicking up in their wake as the body rolls through. "
" i calmly exit the bushes i had been snuggled down in to cool off, hiking along the side to their body. they look like a winding corpse, malnourished and dehydrating, a mummified bunch of bandages and dirtied scales. they look quite .. miserable, even in their state of sleep. "
" i gently grasp the light body. they seem to have lost an incredible amount of weight for spiral standards. i touch the sands, gently tucking the spiral in a loose wrap on my neck via the scarf. the scarf was cool from water, poured on by her waterskin.
i pour out the waterskin on the spiral, the scarf soaking up excess water.
now, i begin hiking back to the nile. "
" i soon arrive. my scales burn a bit from the suns rays, but, i was used to it all by now. i slow down, watching seagrass within the river drift back and forth with the currents. i kneel down under some nearby treecover, placing the spiral next to shaded water. i put down an old waterskin for them to fill and a small sack with native fruits. i don't recall what spirals eat but i hope they could suffice fruit for now. "

" and just like that, i leave. gone to the wind as always, awaiting the next nomad to bring safety along that river i knew so well. "

apologies its kind of messy, definitely not the best work.

i'd think that along the nile, nomadic dragons search for the water source bravely. raith helps those sentenced to die, and, brings them back from their fates.
she sees a sense of justice for those so brave in it.

travelers tell tales of the lady who has no known face, her wooden beads clattering as she vanishes just out of sight when your eyes begin to open. shes an omen of good hope to those along the nile.

also i imagine her alignment being true neutral or neutral good
