Dragon's Clan Role (if applicable): Recently started a koi pond in the Summer village. Her children like to play in it before they leave the clan.

Name (if applicable): Shiro Utsuri (a type of black and white koi)
How they came to be with your dragon: While tending to the koi ponds, one of her children ran off into a nearby forest and came back with a rabbit. “Can we keep him, mom?”
The rest is history.
Describe how your clan interacts with animal companions.
My clan lives in harmony with nature, as Beacon’s original home was very attuned to nature.
Is there a "typical" way dragons adopt them?
No, not really! A dragon will often just bring a random animal they found home. If their mate doesn’t object, then they keep it!
Does your clan's location affect keeping animal companions?
Nope! My clan is located in a very peaceful forest/grove hybrid kinda thing.
Bonus question, inspired by a post: How do they become "friends, not food" in your clan (or is it dragon-dependent)?
A majority of my dragons actually eat mostly Insects and Plants! Meat is not a big part of their diet.
Describe how your clan treats animal companions and, specifically, how your dragon treats (or spoils) their specific animal companion.
My clan treats animals pretty neutrally, although hatchlings like to take small pets home sometimes. Aphros loves the koi she raises and keeps them as happy and healthy as she can, and dotes on her bunny as well.
If your dragon has a familiar, how does the familiar interact with the animal companion (if at all). What makes them "different" in how they are treated by the dragon?
For my clan’s lore, familiars don’t exist. I only use familiars for the free chests. Companions and pets are the only non-dragon friends a dragon will have.
This works well for Aphros’ rabbit!
