One of many dragons who live in a large cavern below the churning maelstrom that is the Bahimda Storm. Kuai is one of Aariv's closest and oldest friends, and and used to be his bodyguard back when the dragon held a noble position bequeathed to him by his parents. When Aariv faked his death and fled, Kuai followed.

He is incredibly strong, able to lift ten times his weight without breaking a sweat, and it's this strength alongside his leadership, knowledge, and digging prowess that makes him the foreman of the Ragtag Crew. Appointed by Aariv himself, it's up to Kuai and his team to make sure everyone in the coalition can make it to freedom on the surface. Numerous challenges line the path before them, like ensuring they don't flood the tunnels by accidentally knicking a water vein or breaking directly under the ocean, and ensuring the safety of the crew while making sure they are not detected or caught.
