An Imperial hailing from the impressive Turrets of Goldensparc, Horizon was never interested in the Shifting Expanse's race to remain the most technologically advanced. Rather, he was more interested in the other races of Sornieth. The one that became most interested was a beast in the neighboring Sunbeam Ruins: Luminax, the first Emperor in centuries.

Of course, most Imperials are deeply disturbed by the thought Emperors. Fusing with your dead brothers and sisters, and becoming a mindless monster? Not exactly a pleasant thought. Horizon, however, found himself spending his every waking moment trying to figure out how the dead even fuse into an Emperor, and why.

And...perhaps he'd like to become part of an Emperor, as well..?
