Daria learned the art of mixing elixirs and making salves from her grandmother, Irina. She uses this skill to help heal those injured in battle. She is a gentle soul, full of compassion for her loved ones and strangers who mean no harm. But she is a skilled warrior who will eliminate threats to these loved ones or innocents threatened by the Shade.

Unlike some of her Dark Stalker kin, Daria hasn't been overwhelmed by the Voidsoul. Sometimes she senses its presence within her; coursing through her blood, like a sudden adrenaline rush. She remains vigilant of the dark energy in her blood as she helps her family hunt the Shade.

Her family values teamwork and companionship, raising their hatchlings to be sociable and diplomatic. Daria yearned to find herself a mate and start a family to carry on her lineage's goal. She met Galum under unlikely circumstances - on the battlefield. She noticed a figure appear, as if out of nowhere, surrounded by glowing flowers. Their eyes met and she heard a sad, yet comforting song. Then he was gone, leaving as quickly as he arrived.

She couldn't get this dragon out of her mind. She wondered if she'd ever see him again.

Days later, her mystery dragon reappeared. She witnessed him approaching fallen dragons and ushering them towards a portal of some kind. She came to understand his role as that of guide, of sorts.

Galum came to live with Daria, and together they nested a clutch of hatchlings.
