JlNi3ut.png Esus loathes the fact that he can no longer speak. He had been deemed "too young" by the scientists in the Quarantine Zone for experimentation, but they still slit his vocal cords. He hated them. He hated the Plaguebringer, he hated this fucking region, he hated everything.

Everything except Teutates and Taranis. They were all he had in this stupid, awful world. But they, too, were changed; Teutates was the size of a hatchling and Taranis was, well. Could be better.

Esus was thankful that Teutates had put in the effort to get them all out. He didn't know how he came up with that crazy plan, but he didn't want to ask. Not that he could, anyway.

Taranis is chained to him with a shared harness. Some kind of torture device but one that came in handy in their particular situation. The irony was almost funny, but Esus refused to as much as crack a smile. If he could save Taranis he would be happy, then he would go somewhere else. He would take his siblings to go live somewhere calmer, like the Zephyr Steppes. Yes, that sounded nice.

Esus allowed himself to relax for just a second.
