Isceroth

Isceroth is a proud brawler and warrior.

Born during a massive storm, he learned early on to brave perilous winds and stick close to those in his lair for survival. Growing up he surpassed his peers in combat and was placed in in high ranks for the guard divisions. Life was tough but good. He enjoyed his days fighting in the pits and even moreso when accompanied by a comrade.

Then the Shade came.

They had dealt with the devouring darkness before. Patrols could send it scattering and ever present mages kept the creeping shrouds at bay. Until one night, none of that mattered.
It's almost as if the darkness learned.
Diving the sentries and blocking escape routes. Covering the weapons cache in blinking ink until no one could grab what they needed to defend themselves. Leaving the front lines but cutting through the middle defenses like butter.

Before Isceroth knew it, he was the only one left.

He came to the Ice lair looking for anyone in his old lair. None remained.
He's still a superb fighter but possesses a haunting loneliness and crippling PTSD.

His wife soothes the darkness.
