As the last person stands in these wastelands, they could only think of one thing as time became infinite. They died and came back with the aid of their own machinery, lost parts and rebuild themselves to be better than ever before. Their old body is just a memory, but no matter how often they've rebuild themselves... Loneliness would never be a thing of the past, and they couldn't bear that the one thing they couldn't repair was the untouchable emotions. It drove them to the edge, the anxiety kept building. One day they crossed the line and impulsively made new life, sacrificing a eye to make this new flesh.

"Lord, what have I done?" They questioned, thinking all feelings used to be lost until they came pouring out. They only realized now they were merely invisible to their eyes. They almost forgot how guilt felt like, why did they ever think to bring a new life in these wastelands? How selfish could they be? All they can ask is for forgiveness, it'd be only crueler to end a life when it spoke back to you.
Too vain to realize earlier, too occupied with one self to stop until it was too late. All they could think of was apologizing, until the steam of the machine runs out.

They brought life here where it was meant to perish, and for that selfish act, they swore to give comfort for every single living moment for this new flesh.
